Distribution of Exercise Books and Medical outreach

The Kaduna State Contributory Health Management Authority (KADCHMA) in collaboration with the Clinton Health Access Initiative will provide free health insurance cover to 24,000 vulnerable citizens in the state.
The Director-General, KADCHMA, Abubakar Hassan disclosed this during Free Books Distribution and Medical Outreach for pupils of LEA Kallon Kura, Samaru, Zaria on Thursday.
The event was organised by the Office of the Special Adviser to the Deputy Governor on NGO Matters in collaboration with KADCHMA.
The director-general said the 24,000 beneficiaries of the scheme would be indigent pregnant women and children under five years towards reducing the infant and maternal mortality indices in the state.
He added the collaboration was initially for 20,000 vulnerable populations in the state and it was increased to 24,000 beneficiaries across the state.
Earlier, Alhaji Muktar Zubairu, Special Adviser to the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State on NGO Matters said the collaboration was to strengthen universal health coverage in Kaduna state.
